As 2020 begins, we wanted to take a moment to look back on some highlights from 2019 for EAI and its clients. Here are just a few of the things we accomplished last year!

February

EAI was successfully reaccredited by the AMC Institute for four more years.

March

The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) held its 34th Annual Meeting, in Washington, DC. Attendees had high praise for the meeting.

The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) hosted its 3rd annual Leadership Summit, a skills training program for future leaders.

The American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM) conducted a strategic planning session. Two key goals identified for the organization are to increase state recognition and launch a Safe Opioid Prescribing Examination (SOPE).

EAI renovated its reception area and large conference room for a fresh, modern look.

June

ACAAI launched a new podcast series titled AllergyTalk.

August

Under EAI’s management, AO was awarded four years accreditation (the highest available) by the American Dental Association’s Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition (CCERP).

ACAAI’s Advocacy Council and leaders traveled to Washington, DC, to lobby Congress on key issues of concern to allergists and their patients.

September

EAI assumed management of the Society for Clinical Trials.

ACAAI contracted with DocMatter to provide a new online virtual community to facilitate member engagement and encourage interaction and collaboration among its physician members.

October

AO conducted a strategic planning session to provide direction to the organization for the next three years.

November

The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology held its 2019 meeting in Houston and launched its first Allergen Extract Mixer Hands-on Workshop.
